The best way to approach the school either from outside London or from within London is via the A1 to Apex Corner (also called Northway Circus).
The A1 can be easily accessed via the M25 Motorway or via the North Circular (A406).
It is also possible to approach Apex Corner via Junction 4 of the M1. Having left the motorway take the A41 southbound.
From the south
If approaching Apex Corner from the south on the A1 take the 3rd exit (A1 north).
However it is important to be in the RIGHT HAND LANE as immediately you will need to take a right turn off the A1 along the A5109 (Marsh Lane) sign posted ‘Totteridge’).
Just over 2 miles along this road you will enter Totteridge Village. The War Memorial marks the end of Barnet Lane. Take a left turn in to Barnet Lane. The school is about halfway along Barnet Lane on the left.
From the north
If approaching Apex Corner from the north you will need to take a right turn on to the A5109 about 100 metres BEFORE the roundabout. There are traffic lights and it is signed posted ‘Totteridge’.
Just over 2 miles along this road you will enter Totteridge Village. The War Memorial marks the end of Barnet Lane. Take a right turn in to Barnet Lane. The school is about halfway along Barnet Lane on the left.
The school can also be reached on The Northern Line to High Barnet Station from where it is a 20 minute walk. It is also close to Totteridge and Whetstone Station from where the 251 bus will bring you to the top of Barnet Lane.
