On Line Donations are now available
Dear Friends,
As always, our committee is looking at new ways of attracting economic support to meet the ever-growing financial requirements of the School. The generous support and sponsorships we receive go a long way to meeting the School’s budgetary requirements. This year, we are looking to take advantage of the new regulations concerning Gift Aid.
As taxpayers you can now make donations tax efficiently. You can help by making a Gift Aid donation whether large or small, regular or one-off. By making such a Gift Aid donation, the School as a registered charity will be able to reclaim the income tax you have paid thus increasing the gift. With basic rate of income tax at 22%, for every £100 you donate by Gift Aid, the School will receive an extra £28 at no extra cost to you. Companies may also take advantage of this scheme by claiming corporation tax relief on the sums donated. High rate taxpayers get an extra benefit by claiming unlimited personal tax at the difference between the basic rate and the higher rate of income tax on the gross value of your gift.
